8pm Gory Daze Parade leaves MSM for downtown, pushed forth by Brass Balagan!
9pm The Gutterball! at Briggs Opera House, featuring DJ Hot Juice, DEV2.0, & DJ Chippendale Cooper
Admission to The Gutterball is $10 at the door
A cash bar will be available with a valid ID

THE FAMOUS GORY DAZE PARADE
Every year, on or before Halloween, The Rio Blanco Social Club
invites everyone from White River Junction and beyond to join together for a costume parade through the village. The parade starts at the Main Street Museum (58 Bridge Street) The total length is .09 mile. The parade usually takes about 40 minutes.
Costumes are encouraged and the more home grown the better! Hand pushed floats are also welcomed. (No cars). The parade is great for kids and adults alike. We love that more people participate than watch by the sidelines! Because EVERYONE is welcome in the Junction!
The Gory Daze Parade & Events started as a fun thing to do amongst a few friends in 2002. And now, it's in it's 23nd year! (We missed one year due to covid). What started as a small, humble event, has turned into WRJ's BIGGEST night of the year! It's not uncommon for 1,000+ revelers to dance through the streets of White River Junction on closest Saturday to Halloween! WHY DO WE ASK FOR MONEY?
Donations help us pay for the musicians who play before the parade (Western Terrestrials), musicians who lead the parade (Brass Balagan), & Artists who perform at the BALL.(This year it's Dracula and his band, the Draculas and Populace) It also pays for insurance, venue rental, candy & donuts on strings.
